Push My Buttons

I guess I should blog a bit cuz I’ve been ignoring it for awhile, except for the Footwear Expo stuff, which I am totally excited about. I wish there weren’t a couple of people who declined my vendor invitation WITHOUT even reading it, but whatever…

On to the new stuff I can’t take off. Pushbutton Industries caught my eye a long long time ago as the supplier of these wicked tattoos I bought at Calla, which I wore for like a month straight. You have to admit a month is an insanely long time in SL, right?

Lately, I have not been reading the blogs, watching the feed or looking at the gazillion of notices I get. I’ve just been super burnt out by “blogging” and all the crap that goes along with it. But I did manage to catch a glimpse of the newest releases by Pushbutton Industries, and they actually got me excited to go check them out, which is rare these days.

On the left, I am wearing a new design, The Emily in Flora. The texturing sublime, and the little touch of lace at the hem and the sleeves is perfect. It comes in seven different colours, at L$100 each, or you can snag the fatpack as I did for L$500. I paired it with the older release of these pants, called The Fiasco, in the Coma colour (I love the names of the colours!).

There were all these fabulous printed long-sleeved shirts right up at the front with the new releases, and I couldn’t decide which one to get. You might ask, “but you seem to like the fatpack” and I do, but there wasn’t a fatpack available, and also I spent the rest of my money already, and SL is not cooperating with the purchase of Lindens at the moment, the bastards. So I settled on “Lost & Found” (centre), which was the brightest colour with the most interesting design, though I do plan to splurge on the other five styles when my Linden wallet is replenished.

On the right is possibly my favourite style of the day, the Emily, shown here in Water. In the vendor posters, the model is shown with a choker, which definitely gives it a certain, very sexy look, but I forget to wear jewellery most of the time, so here I’m barenaked with it. These shirts are also L$100 each, and the fatpack for all six colours is L$450.

So, ya wanna see that tattoo I was talking about? You know you do.

See what I mean? And the best, most coolest part, is that these tattoos not only come in multiple layers, but also multiple fade factors. As anyone who actually has tattoos would know, tattoos look different when you first get them than how they look years later. They fade and eventually get really old looking and perhaps tired and ugly, depending on where on your body it is ;), and you might choose to get it touched up (which hurts like a mother, btw, and in my opinion worse than when you first got them). You can pick these up for L$400 for the entire set, or choose from two other colour options available.

From left to right is, Ancient, Faded and Fresh. My own tattoos are about at the faded level, at least for all except the ankle tat, which weirdly enough looks as good as the day I got it like 10 years ago.

Okay, enough babble. Check out Pushbutton Industries at Le Zoo.

Check out where I got the rest of this stuff after the cut.
